The Haven House

This full-home new construction project was designed to feel warm, refined, and effortlessly livable from the moment the homeowners walked through the door. Gracie Lain Design developed the interior vision for the entire residence, creating a cohesive design story that carried naturally from one room to the next while still allowing each space to have its own distinct personality.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered, including the furniture layouts, lighting, window treatments, rugs, artwork, bedding, decorative accessories, and final styling. A soft neutral palette became the foundation of the home, layered with warm wood tones, subtle patterns, natural textures, and carefully placed contrast. The result is a calm and inviting interior that feels polished without being overly formal.

In the main living areas, generously scaled furnishings and comfortable seating create spaces that encourage gathering, conversation, and everyday family life. The kitchen and adjoining areas were styled to feel bright, functional, and connected, with furnishings and décor selected to complement the home’s finishes while adding warmth and character. Bedrooms were designed as restful retreats, using layered textiles, tailored furniture, and personal details to create spaces that feel both elevated and deeply comfortable.

The home office was thoughtfully planned to balance productivity and beauty, incorporating custom-style storage, a substantial work surface, layered lighting, and meaningful décor. Secondary bedrooms were given their own individual identities while remaining connected to the overall design direction of the home.

From the largest furniture selections to the smallest finishing details, each element was chosen with intention. The completed home reflects a cohesive blend of softness, warmth, function, and timeless style—creating an environment that feels beautifully designed, genuinely welcoming, and personal to the family who lives there.
